ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan has lost a second star player from its Final Four team to the NBA draft.Wolverines junior guard Tim Hardaway Jr. decided Wednesday to forgo his final year of eligibility and declare for the NBA draft, joining former teammate Trey Burke.

"I made my decision yesterday," Hardaway said. "It felt good, felt better about myself and it was good to get it off my shoulders."

Hardaway, the son of former NBA All-Star Tim Hardaway, said he consulted with his father, his coaches, Burke and former Michigan guard Darius Morris about the decision.

Hardaway Jr. scored 1,532 points, good enough for 18th in career scoring at Michigan. His 202 made 3-pointers are sixth in school history and his 440 career rebounds place him 50th in school history.

A first-team all-Big Ten selection, Hardaway averaged 14.5 points and 4.7 rebounds last season for Michigan.

The City of Chicago hosted the victory parade and rally for the Chicago Blackhawks' win of the Stanley Cup on June 11, 2010. Mayor Daley spoke at the rally and introduced Blackhawks owner Rocky Wirtz.

ABC provided local coverage of the event with had a massive crowd cheering the hockey players wildly. According to ABC, the size of the crowd is difficult to estimate, but the parade and rally attracted about two million people.

The mood was festive as the Chicago sports fans cheered and waved at the red double decker buses in the parade and at the rally in downtown Chicago. As the Stanley Cup was carried through the crowd, fans reached out to touch the trophy.

Mark Cavendish's dream of claiming his first Tour de France yellow jersey disappeared because of a crash near the end of a farcical opening stage. Germany's Marcel Kittel won the stage, which had a confusing end after a team bus became wedged on the finish line. With the riders less than 15km away, the finish was temporarily brought 3km forward but that decision was reversed when the bus was moved.
