Although an annuity is meant to provide steady income, particularly when you retire, [1] there are circumstances when you might want to find a buyer for your annuity. Some people decide to sell their annuity in order to buy a home, invest in a business, or to cover a sudden emergency situation.

Method 1 of 4: Is Your Annuity Transferable or a Structured Settlement?
1
Determine if your annuity is transferable. If your annuity is not transferable, then you cannot sell it under any circumstances. (If you need to sell your annuity because you need immediate cash, the best you can do with a nontransferable annuity is list it as an asset or form of income and apply for a regular bank loan.)

2
Determine if your annuity is a structured settlement. Most states have laws that protect people who want to sell their structured annuity. If your state has a Structured Settlement Protection Act, [2] your transaction will have to be approved by a state court (this ... Read more »

If you've ever attempted to find a domain name, you know just how hard it can be. It may seem like no matter what topic you're searching for, all of the quality domain names are taken.

I built Lean Domain Search to solve that problem. You type in a search term and Lean Domain Search pairs it with over 2,000 other keywords to generate domain names and instantly shows you which are available. If you've used it a lot, you'll notice that some queries like cloud return only a few dozen results (about 35), while others like
photobook
return an enormous amount (about 1,700).

So I started thinking about it: the fewer the results, the more popular domain names with those words are. Which are the most popular? Looking at the the number of results returned by Lean Domain Search is a good indication, but the definitive answer could only be gleaned by analyzing all of the domain names out there, not just the ones checked by Lean Domain Search.

Since the nu ... Read more »

Many millions of homes across the United States contain the construction material, asbestos. This is because, the majority of the 20th century, asbestos was highly regarded for its fire-proofing qualities. Therefore the material can be found in the average American home: the walls, the roofs, chimneys, floor and ceiling tiles, insulation material, ducting and heating systems. When left undisturbed asbestos is perfectly safe and there is no need to be alarmed. However, if there is any damage or disturbance to asbestos, it can cause asbestos fibers to become airborne. These fibers may be come lodged within an individual’s lungs. Once lodged these hazardous fibers can cause a number of life-threatening illnesses. Such fibers are identified with difficulty as they do not show up in conventional x-rays. The dangers of asbestos have been known for a considerable period of time. However many manufacturers of construction materials and employers continued to expose homeowners and ... Read more »

Prism is the upcoming fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter Katy Perry. It is scheduled to be released on October 22, 2013, by Capitol Records. Its lead single "Roar" was released on August 10, 2013, and has peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100.

Johnny Wujek, who designed costumes for Perry's California Dreams Tour, said in a July 2012 interview: "We heard this new song for her next album and I was like, 'oh my god I see the video', and she was like 'I see the video too', and we were totally on the same page."[1] Perry told Billboard in late 2012 that she wanted to take some time off before starting recording the album, stating:

I'm an adult and what I'm not going to do is hurry up to fail, to shoot myself in the foot. I need to live so ... Read more »
