Barack Obama visits Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was jailed

U.s president Barack Obama visited Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 of his 27 years in jail. It was the second time Obama was visiting the cell, the first time was in 2006 when he was a U.s senator. The visit, a tribute to the ailing anti-apartheid hero, came hours before Obama delivered a speech at the University of Cape Town.
